The Château Villa Bel Air, since 1988 in the hands of the Cazes family, has completely restructured the vineyard and the technical facilities. Struck by the spirit of the place, and its Italian imprint, Jean-Michel Cazes gave the Château its definitive name “Villa Bel-Air”. The Cazes Group also owns Château Lynch Bages, a Grand Cru Classé in Pauillac. With this same team they make high quality wines.
The red wine of Chateau Villa Bel-Air has the refined character of the Graves and a balance that reflects the harmony of the grape varieties, which are 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.
Its nose is loaded with ripe red fruits and violets, with woody nuances of vanilla and spices. Structured, its body offers volume and a full and round finish on fine and liquorice tannins.
